Actually, it would not make any sense at all if they were Vastro Lord + Arrancar, when a Vastro Lord alone can handle captains.
Vastro Lords alone being on average stronger than your average captain, makes it quite stupid that they didn’t smash in the captains, considering they had twice the reatsu.
We have seen many times in Bleach by now, reatsu, really, really, really matters, and abilities are heavily diminished if the reatsu is too different in strength.
If the Espada had twice the reatsu that of a captain, then I’ll eat a whole volume of Bleach manga for breakfast… seriously, it doesn’t make sense
So true Arrancars appearing is more than likely, and I seriously doubt any of the Espada got anywhere close to Ichigo’s level, they were a joke
More like Arrancar Adjucas reaching below average captain strength, some above.
