Drone captures the jet that flew 3x higher than Everest
The last remaining Sukhoi T-4 high speed reconnaissance and strategic bomber aircraft, now lies deserted in an old soviet 'plane graveyard' in Monino, Moscow Oblast, Friday.
The plane that could fly three times the height of Mount Everest and three times the speed of sound was deserted after the plane failed to make it past the prototype stage. Its first test flight took place over 42 years ago on 22 August 1972.
